All children under 11 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult and closely supervised in the pool at all times. One adult can supervise two children under 11 years old but no more, providing the children can swim. Weak or non swimmers, babies and toddlers MUST be supervised in the pool on a one adult to one child basis.
Anyone 11 years old and over can attend without adult supervision providing they are a strong swimmer and have no medical conditions.
PLEASE NOTE: Babies & Toddlers, and any older children that are not potty-trained, MUST wear well-fitting Swim Nappies under their swimming costumes. We also sell these in our Swim Shop. Note that Lifevests and arm bands are also available to be purchased in our Swim Shop
You have a couple of options:
- Pay for a standard admission ticket – this gives you access to all areas of the aqua park whether you wish to swim or not, including the Water’s Edge Restaurant and seating area, which provides a great view of poolside. Please note that if you are supervising children due to their age or swimming ability, you must be in the pool with them and not supervising in clothes from dry land. See FAQ: “What are your ratios for adults & children? How old must I be to attend without an adult?” on this page.
- Wait for the rest of your party in our Reception area – We provide ample seating, free WiFi, restroom facilities and access to our fabulous Dessert Bar, which serves plenty of tasty snacks and drinks. It is free of charge to wait in the Reception area, but there is only a restricted view into the aqua park. Guests with admission tickets can come out to see you if required however.
In line with our pre-swim hygiene rules, all customers must shower before entering the pools…
- Communal showers can be found in the centre aisle of the changing rooms
- Private showers are located at the back of the changing rooms
Pre-swim Shower Advice:
- Shower for at least 30 seconds
Do not use soap or other detergents for your pre-swim shower
We kindly request that, in addition to pre-swim showering, bathers:
- Use the toilets before swimming (located on the left of the pool hall entrance) and wash your hands afterwards
- Do not take outdoor shoes onto poolside (shoe covers are provided for those not swimming)
- Ensure babies wear special swimming nappies and that nappies are disposed of in the nappy bins provided.
Please do not attend for swimming if you have:
- Transmissible Infections, including skin conditions, that can be passed onto others
- Diarrhoea or have had diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours
- Been diagnosed with cryptosporidiosis – if so, you should not swim for 14 days after diarrhoea has stopped
PLEASE NOTE: Babies & Toddlers, and any older children that are not potty-trained, MUST wear well-fitting Swim Nappies under their swimming costumes. We also sell these in our Swim Shop.
There is a baby & toddler area which is very shallow; it has a Jungle House which has 2 flumes, tunnels and rope swings . There are a further 3 smaller toddler rides and a children’s boat slide too! Adults MUST supervise the children under their supervision at all times in this area.
